I thought the article above which Joe found was very interesting. I still worry as a parent about the effect these games have, if any. Joe told me this morning that some of the gaming industry is actually for a ban on sales of mature rated games for children under the age of 17. That way the industry could concentrate on creating games specifically for teens, or games which will be appropriate for a wide-range of ages.
Yesterday I took a look at the latest issue of PC Gamer and was amazed at how much violence there is. There is a demo of KingPin which is one of the games getting a lot of heat right now......I can understand why!
Where do you draw the line at your house?
