Triple Play 2001

It seems that each new year brings a new edition of the Triple Play series. EA Sports continues to improve its sports line-up each year. The series started off with some struggles, but is improving each year. The latest edition of this game is well worth purchasing if you are a baseball nut. The new features are unique enough to make this one a decent upgrade. The graphics are not as realistic as the Dreamcast console by any means, but they aren't too shabby either.
Triple Play allows you to step up to the plate with all of your favorite players. Dream of making it to the plate yourself? Grab a digital camera and include yourself in the action. The controls are easy to master, making this one accessible to computer novices. The minimum system requirements are a bit optimistic, and it is recommended you stick closer to the recommended requirements (near 300 Mhz) for this one.
New features that make this game great:
This game may not be as realistic as High Heat, but it is a lot of fun. Don't expect baseball perfection. This one plays more like a good console or arcade game. Baseball fans will enjoy it, however, and novices will be able to handle the controls.
Bottom Line: A very good baseball program with much improved graphics, and some nice game features. A nice upgrade to the Triple Play series.
