This program is a winner! Based on the successful format of past "Trail" programs, this new adventure finds you traveling the country in the automobile of your choice. Kids of all ages (and 'adult kids') will enjoy this new program.

You and a travel companion of your choice will set off on one of five different road adventures. You must decide where you next stop is based on clues given to you by the adventure leader. Utilizing the state database, road maps, and more, you must decide which road to take. You have full control of your adventure, down to the last detail of the automobile's engine maintenance.

You are given a certain amount of money, which must be budgeted wisely. You decide which hotels to stay in, as well as when and where to stop for food. Forget to fill up with gas (as testers often did!) and you will pay a hefty towing fee. You can push the speed limit, but as in real-life you don't always get away with it.

The graphics are the better than any Trail program to date. Video clips of people you meet, as well as full panoramic 'walk-throughs' of the cities and sites you stop at give this game a very realistic feel. Each of the companions will give your trip a different feel as well. You may have selected the one who looks for bargains, or the one who whines constantly for food stops. The choices (and resulting consequences) are yours.

This program is very educational, in that your children must study maps, budget, and make decisions that any adult would have to make on a road trip. At each stop they will learn a bit about the city and it's historical sites. Fun and learning go hand-in-hand to create a very nice program that any family will enjoy.

Bottom Line: The best "Trail" program to date. Great way to learn geography, and have a lot of fun at the same time.
