Q*bert is a remake of the classic 80's arcade game. In this era of retro-gaming, Q*bert brings back one of your favorites. Hasbro has done a very good job retaining the original feel of the game, while adding a few 90's twists for those who want more of a challenge.

Q*bert is a cute little guy whose main objective in life seems to be hopping on boxes. There are all sorts of enemies after this poor creature, who don't want him to hop on all of the boxes. This game contains the classic arcade game, an adventure game, and head-to-head gameplay.

Classic Q*bert: You must make Q*bert jump on each of the 3-dimensional boxes on a pyramid. Three skill levels make this accessible for kids from elementary school to experienced gamers. The object is to hit all of the boxes before moving on to the next, and more difficult level.

Q*bert Adventure: This new version finds Q*bert's friends kidnapped by Coily, his archenemy. Q*bert must complete six levels before rescuing his friends. The 3-dimensional puzzles here are rather difficult and will take some definite brainpower! The pyramids are in various shapes, and Q*bert needs to move in rather odd directions. This is a great game for developing spatial relation skills.

Head-to-Head: While you can play the Classic version as a two-player game, Head-to-Head lets you play a specially designed two-player version. Here two 'Q*berts' must jump around the pyramid trying to cover as many boxes as possible. The two different Q*berts change the boxes to their own color. Hit more boxes than your opponent and you win.

Q*bert is a fun and addictive game that will keep you coming back for more. This is a non-violent arcade game you can feel comfortable purchasing for your family. Watch out, you may not get much else done yourself, however!

Bottom Line: A great remake of a classic arcade game. Addictive gameplay will keep you coming back for more.
