The television show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire remains one of the hottest shows on television. Fans are absolutely devoted to the show, almost to the point of being funny! If you are one of these fans, you probably tried your hand at the first version of this program. The second offers no surprise...that's good in a way.

Regis Philbin again hosts this easy to use computer game. New questions have been added, as well as new lifelines and the chance to win a great vacation to Paris! The sweepstakes for the trip only run through August 25th, 2000, so purchase your program soon!

There were complaints with the first version that there were not enough questions included. It was a legitimate complaint. This version will add new questions, but doesn't do much to solve the problem. Ultimately Disney needs a download area on their site where you can get more questions, rather than releasing new versions twice a year.

You will not be able to tell much difference between this version and the first one. Read the review of Who Wants to be a Millionaire for details regarding game play. This one is identical. The multiplayer aspect has been improved slightly, but it is still just a 'turn-taking device.' The person who hits a key first gets to play the game solo. This time you can have more than two people try for that coveted spot, however.

This is a great game, and one your family will enjoy. If you can't get beyond the first half of the questions, you will run into the same problem of repeating questions eventually. The questions are also much too hard for most elementary children. Most will have no clue, for example, "What instrument was played by Tiny Tim," or "What is the normal playback speed of a 12" long play record." Do they even know what a record IS?

Bottom Line: Nothing special as far as upgrade, but more solid gameplay for Who Wants to be a Millionaire fans. Will add more questions to the limited first edition.
