Hot off the Press!!
Life at E3 not all that smooth!!!!!!! Gee, I think I'm really glad I decided to wait until next year to hit E3! Read this. And you thought you got made when you lost YOUR Internet connection!! http://ign64.ign.com/news/19388.html

BIG Announcement from Knowledge Adventure!!!! I knew it was only a matter of time, although Josiah (my son and the console expert) considers it blasphemy of sorts. At E3 Knowledge Adventure will unveil the first of their kids console games for the Playstation. Educational content on PlayStation???? YEP! They will release games including Sabrina, Franklin, Telletubies for the PlayStation and GameBoy Color soon. If these go well, I'm sure it won't be long before the educational content creeps in there.....if the kids will allow it. ;-)

New releases slated for E3 from Scholastic include a new series based on Clifford the Big Red Dog and two new I Spy titles.

Other new E3 announcements from Knowledge Adventure include the following scheduled releases:

  • Two new deluxe, 2CD versions of Jump Start, Math Blaster and Reading Blaster.
  • New personalized study programs for middle school and high school kids titled Excel Middle School, Excel High School and Excel Mathematics. This looks more integrated than their previous 'bundles' and I have high hopes.....it's about time there was a decent upper level program to talk about! Let's keep our fingers crossed!
  • New language programs titled Learn Your Way. There have been few new foreign language programs this past year, so I look forward to the new advances in technology. This will star with Spanish, French and English

It includes "scientifically accurate" information in an adventure based program. The virtual manipulative look esspecially cool!
